1994

1994 was an important year for Sheila, following two years during which she was not sailed, or hardly.

Important work was initiated to create a new deck in Yellow Cedar and a new mizzen mast in British Colombian Pine.
A lot of attention (and money) was to be devoted to embellishments, such as the engravings gracing the cockpit and the cockpit table. The “mouse” was engraved on the stair.
A new mizzen and a new furling jib were to be provided by Gayle Heard.

Sheila was to be restored to the original and much better looking arrangement of twin windows on the cabin.

In december, she was painted by Anthony Osler
