Albert Strange was a reknown British artist and yacht designer.
His design #70 from 1903 became Sheila in 1905 for his fellow artist Robert E Groves.
He was considered by Robert E Groves as a mentor and a friend. Both sailed Sheila together in her first Celtic cruises.
Albert Strange has a wikipedia page and his legacy is maintained by the Albert Strange Association. Most of his yacht designs are kept at Mystic Seaport in the USA.
