We need to repair the stem post, and potentially more rot damaged parts at the stern, as we discover them. The iron keel ballast will be removed and probably sanded. On top of this activity which will be mostly handled by “real” shipwrights, we need to give some attention to the deck (sanding, redo the seams, varnish with wood stain) and review everything on top of the mast. And then their is the regular maintenance … We would like to limit Sheila drying time to 4 months. Wish us ‘bon courage” !
